ANVUR* updates the classification of the journal SCIENZE REGIONALI

(*) ANVUR is the National agency for the evaluation of universities and research institutes of the Italian Ministry of University and Research
The journal Scienze Regionali has been included among the Class A journals for the National Scientific Qualification (ASN) for the following areas:
Area 13: A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, D2 with the following motivation: “Scienze Regionali represents the reference forum for economists, geographers, and regional scientists – both Italian, especially belonging to the scientific association of reference, AISRe, but also European and International. For this specific SSD [13/A4], this journal is of obvious and absolute importance, although numerous contributions are also published regularly in the other SSDs proposed.”
Regional Sciences is already included in the lists of class A journals for the ASN of Area 14 for sector D1 (Sociology of economic, labour, environmental and territorial processes). We still have no news about the possible inclusion of Scienze Regionali in the list of class A journals for Area 08/F1 – Urban and Territorial Planning and Design.
The effects for the purposes of the ASN will start from the four-month period of submission of applications, following the ANVUR resolution on the updating of the journal lists.
