ERSA Summer School 2026 – Last Call
Applications are still open for a few days for the 39th ERSA Summer School, which will take place in Covilhã (Portugal) from 21 to 26 June 2026.

The 2026 edition will focus on:
“Circular Cities, Clusters, Ecosystems and Regions:
Public Policies for Sustainable Regional Development”
The Summer School is aimed at young researchers willing to deepen their knowledge of regional development, present their work, and engage with leading international scholars.
Application requirements
To be considered for selection, applicants must complete their submission through the application portal by uploading:
- one-page research project summary
- one-page motivation letter
- one-page CV
⚠️ Incomplete applications will not be evaluated.
Please note that registration alone is not sufficient: all required documents must be uploaded before the deadline.
📍 The Summer School will be held in Covilhã, a city that has been part of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network since 2021.
