Description
Fondazione Cariplo is an Italian foundation of banking origin that operates with the purpose of pursuing social good and promoting economic development, by contributing grants to third party projects and carrying on initiatives of its own.
The Foundation operates prevailingly in the Lombardy Region in four sectors: Social, Arts and Culture, Environment and Scientific Research.
In the 30 years since its establishment, Fondazione Cariplo provided some 3.7 billion euros, supporting over 35,000 projects (every year, more than 1,000 projects for 150 million euros).
