Post-Doctoral Scholarship “Roberto Camagni” – 2026 the winner is…

The Italian Association of Regional Sciences (AISRe) is offering a scholarship to fund a research period abroad at an institution in an EU27 country or the United Kingdom. Applications are open to young researchers (under 35 years of age) who obtained their PhD from an Italian university no more than three years before the publication date of this call.
After careful evaluation of the applications, all of which were meritorious, the Commission unanimously awarded the prize to the candidate.

The research project aims to develop a new estimation model that integrates a zero-inflated negative binomial structure into an autoregressive spatial structure, with application to the network of patient transfers between hospital and emergency department.
